Bistrot des Anges on the Côte d’Azur
Only 10 minutes from La Croisette in Cannes, in the town of Le Cannet, the Bistrot des Anges celebrates bistronomy in a chic and friendly setting, with traditional cuisine revisited in the form of home cooked dishes at reasonable prices.
The Bistrot des Anges has been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide’s sister publication, Les Bonnes Petites Tables, which is a guarantee of French quality and authenticity.
Bistrot des Anges, all the pleasures of bistronomy
Here, bistronomy reigns supreme: high-quality, considered and generous cuisine at reasonable prices. At lunchtime, the menu and dish of the day invite you to indulge in a wonderfully pleasurable gourmet interlude.
The dining room is warm and inviting with its ochre and dusty-pink brick walls, picked out by the soft greys of the seats and banquettes. Outside, the deep armchairs in the lounge area are an enticement to relax in the soothing, yet distinctly exotic atmosphere conjured up by the surrounding palm trees and overhead eaves.
Bistro cuisine by Bruno Oger
Here, the tradition of bistro cuisine is respected and honoured in a menu that is a true celebration of the classics, with Burgundy snails and beef tartare enticing lovers of traditional dishes.
Dishes that the highly talented two-starred chef Bruno Oger knows how to blend to perfection with contemporary bistronomy: tradition revisited by a lightness of touch, with seasonal cuisine transforming springtime into a celebration of asparagus and winter as an invitation to savour scallops... Finally, it’s time for the desserts that provide a festival of colour and sweetness, delivering an indulgent and delightful crescendo to the meal.
The wine list of the Bistro des Anges offers a selection to please all tastes and desires, with the option of drinking by the glass, or choosing a bottle from among the 400 listed on the Villa Archange's menu.
Bistrot des Anges, low-cost menus
Every day, both for lunch and dinner, the Bistrot des Anges offers three menus composed of a starter, main course and dessert.
For customers on the go, the "Express Lunch" allows you to enjoy a main course and dessert of the day with a glass of wine and coffee.
And Bruno Oger has certainly not forgotten his younger clientele. Under-twelves have their own special menu known as "Les P'tits anges", which of course includes a dessert from the sweet trolley.
